need help
I was in a huge hurry and started talking to someone and grabbed the black handle instead of green befor I noticed I pumped 15 gallons of gas then topped off with diesel so I now have a half half mix luckily only had to drive less than a mile home.
Is there something I can pour in it to save it like a couple gallons of new motor oil or do I just have to drain the whole thing so much for $87.32
THANKS for any help

yes, you made an $87 mistake. dont feel alone, i made an $85 one the other day. not a fuel in tank problem though. remove the outlet hose from the fuel pump it takes a quick disconnect removal tool. then cycle the ignition or hot wire it to the battery (im not sure how to do this, someone else can chime in) and pump the tank out. then fill with diesel and lots of additive. i would double up on the dosage.

Yea, dump it. Save yourself the trouble and don't bother trying to use the fuel/gas mix in any thing else. It will foul the plugs on and injectors on gas burners. Best find a safe and proper way to dispose of it. Had one of our Team members with the boat company I work with stop at a BP station where the ALL the pump handles are green EXCEPT the diesel which is BLACK and preceed to fill his boat (over 40 gallons) with diesel, and his truck (DukyMax) with gas (over 30 gallons). Luckly he noticed before he started his truck. Paid an oil lube place next door $200.00 to empty both tanks and dispose of fuel/gas mix. Then he had to refill boat and truck from dead empty. Not sure how much the truck holds, the boat is like mine and holds 52 gals. That should make you feel some better about your $87.32. His total for that fill up was around $500.00.
