I'm thinking to myself- "Sheese, I ain't believing I'm actually seeing this..."
WHY?
It's a bottle of purified WATER!!!
-But then I notice the ingredients:
PURIFIED WATER, MAGNESIUM SULFATE,
POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, SALT*
*ADDS A NEGLIGIBLE AMOUNT OF SODIUM
So now I'm thinking: "Do they really have to put preservatives and stuff in everything?"
Skip to the other side of the label, and I see:
NON-CARBONATED
Crisp, fresh taste.
****** is filtered
through a
state of the art
purification system
and enhanced with
minerals for a pure,
clean taste that
can't be beat.
This would be laughable if I didn't suspect someone somewhere was serious...
First of all, water has no calories. NO DUH!!! It's water -
No fat, no carbos, no fiber, no polyunsaturateds, WELL NO KIDDING!
It's just plain water!!!
But it has to have a label on it to tell people this. As if nobody ever suspected it in the first place, right?
But now what? Okey dokey;
"We the manufacturers of (WATER!) have completely and totally purified, filtered, cleaned, and sterilised the daylights out of this stuff by means of a sophisticated system that no average person could possibly afford!
- And then we dumped more crap right back into it..."
Is it just me, or does this boggle the mind?
It isn't just the idea that lots of people everywhere buy this kind of stuff. It's the thought that someone somewhere thinks up things like this, a corporation lines up behind it and produces it, an advertising campaign is spun up, promotions go on at stores all over the place, and you guessed it...
IT SELLS.
Personally, I think I'll stick with a plain old RV filter. It's twenty five bucks for a filter that will last ten years if it's only to fill a water bottle, and then I can add whatever garbage to the water I want to. Such as caffiene for example.

But you gotta have bottled water, man! It's part of the whole "Cell Phone" gig.
Yeah, I'm guilty of buying water. I take a large bottle to work with me everyday, partly because my well water is so bad that it's almost undrinkable until it's been filtered three times but also because of the convenience of the bottle it comes in. The vast array of bottled water available is staggering...I usually go for the cool looking bottles (as well as the ones that fit nicely in the small ice chest I use for my lunch and drinks!)
and i buy it because i really don't drink anything else other than gatorade or water, so if i am out and about and get thirsty, i stop at a store and grab me a bottle of water.

Makes you wonder.
Supposedly we have some of the best water here in the country.
And it's only 6/10 of a penny per gallon.
Some of that bottled water is from a tap.
If I drink gatorade, I'll delute it. Maybe add 3 times more water.
I can't even read some of the ingredients in that stuff.
Yes there are great sources of water around the world but they use chlorine sometimes to the extreme.
If you drink too much chlorinated water..... over time, you will develop cysts in your intestines ......and that's no fun.
remember...you're drinking ...Bleach

Gatorade

Gatorade is filled with sodium and really only quenches the thirst for a short time and usually only for Athletes who are using massive amounts doing their sport.

Now they're using chloramine. Suppose to be a bit safer.
