Switch install help

I am looking to install a switch in my ignition wire so that way my truck cant be started/stolen if switch is not turned on. I did a search but couldnt determine which wire in the steering column I need to use. If someone could give me color and location and a plug it is in so I can get this done asap. It will be a pain with remote start alarm as it will render that usless but id rather have to start my truck knowing it will be where I park it rather than not there at all. Thanks in advance. Eric

Someone, some time ago, provided info on this. Pre-tech folder.

If we can find it or if someone writes us another one I will put in the tech folder for time eternal.

why not use a hidden toggle switch and shut off your fuel pump? The wires are readily available (under driver door) and you can hide the switch anywhere
