2001 f250 left brake light problem

2001 f250 left brake light problem
I own a f250 crew cab v10 that has a left brake light problem not working. the right brake light works fine and I have replaced the bulb and checked for power in the left one (nothing). I checked all fuses under the dash and under the hood. There is fuses for the left side & right side brake lights under the hood and they are all good. Does anyone have any suggestions on what the problem might be. This all happenned when I was hooking up my trailer and everything worked great and then a few minutes later the left brake light stop working. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
