brake light
I have a 1982 ford f150 the left brake light doesn't work. The turn signal , tail lights , and reverse lights all work. On the right side everything works fine. I replaced the bulb and used a test light and the only power that shows is when the turn signal is on. Any ideas.

Your trouble could be in the turn signal switch in steering column as the brake light circuit goes thru contacts in switch. Not too familiar with your setup, but there may be a two wire connector from column that goes to brake lights. It looks like one feeds each rear brake light. (like that on Mustangs). Using a test light you could verify that.
