Hitch question

My brother in law has a 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 that has a hitch on it he dosn's use, so I ask him to give it to me, I drive a 2002 F150 4.2 V6 2x4, will it fit my truck?

if it is an aftermarket hitch i don't see why it wouldn't the majority of them are universal

Just make sure the bolt holes will match up on your frame and you should be good.

My aftermarket hitch came with shims that had to be installed a specific way for my truck. You may have to experiment with them to get the right mounting height. I'd sure try it.

if all else fails use a cuting tourch and welder
