POR-15 IS A REALLY GOOD RUST INHIBITER, YOU APPLY IT YOURSLF, AND IT CAN BE APLLIED RIGHT OVER TOP OF THE RUST. iT COMES IN BLACK, AND IS RECOMENDED FOR FRAMES, BATTERY BOXES, AND SUSPENSIONS, OR ANY METAL SURFACE.
Yeah POR-15 is great stuff.. I grinded my frame down and applied rockergaurd and it turned out great...
Heres how bad my frame was (Go Canadian roads!)
Here are some pictures of the finished product. (Nice, new and safe hangers and shackles!)
I would definitely recommend that no matter what you go with, you maintain it well. I have seen too many people here in Northeast Ohio that get the undercoating and don't maintain it, and five or six years down the road the vehicle's underside looks a lot worse that what it would be without undercoating. When it chips away that rust will get underneath it all and go crazy.
Hmm, I don't see why not? Just make sure that all your hangers and stuff are on your frame before it gets done because it goes on very thick and you wouldn't get them sitting on the frame properly once it was done.
