I just added a few pics of the my truck as of this past weekend. Painted the firewall and bottom of the cab, installed some new brakelines and got the 429 and C-6 sunggled into place (hopefully for the last time).
Other pics show driver's side lower cowl and cab corner replacements
The driver side lower cowl corner - was that a Mid Fifty part? I still have to do mine and would appreciate any info on the patch replacement. I have the patch panel. Just haven't started it yet.
Yes, I purchased the larger patch panel that they list and ended up using about 1/2-2/3 of it, ( I like to try and used as much original metal as possible) it fit very nicely and required some minor masaging at the bottom lip to fit, I did however have to fill in the lower hinge access panel hole.
Looking at your firewall I am assuming that the truck will be white?
Well, sort of, I plan on painting the bulk of the truck with a heavy metallic gold with a white roof, bumpers and grille. The interior will also be done 2 tone with white and gold
I am leaving the brakes alone for the time being, when $$ allows I'll be doing a power disc conversion with under floor pedals and master cylinder, I think it keeps the engine bay cleaner
