Put a Truxedo lo-pro on my 06 4x4 and it fits great and looks good, was around $400 and is a quality cover.I had one on a previous 94 and it was still good after 12 yrs. It may cost a little more but you cant argue with results.
Have you looked at the new Express tonneau that Extang now makes?
I have the RT and love it but want to look into getting the new Express. It's benefits are automatic tension adjustment, no restriction on your bed size whatsoever, and it's angled a slight bit so rain rolls off and doesn't puddle up.
They are great about warranties and taking care of you at Extang too.
I have the Blackmax on my 06 XL. I have been very pleased witht so far. I adjusted it for cold weather (reverse snaps on rails) in late Oct. Bed stays really dry in rainstorms and when I wash it. I thought it was reasonably priced too.
I have the Extang Classic...color fade is non existant, I power wash the heck out of my bed liner and no leak what so ever, easy to roll on and off (weather depending, but you can change the snaps for colder weather and it helps), and best bang for the buck.
I know you did not mention this one...but i have the trifecta (tri fold) cover from extang. I love it. You can fold it up in 5 seconds or remove it in a couple minutes. It reinstalls just as fast. I love it.
hey red04f150$, Doyou have any pictures of you trifecta cover? thanks
