Not the same at all. While a "conversion" is within the realm of possibility, your time and money would be better spent elsewhere. There are many good 4x4 drivelines out there. Simply buy a 4wd (F-100 or F-250, your choice)with a decent frame and running gear that needs a good body. Swap your body onto the frame.
