I don't anything about those except that if you use those lights i would be real careful 'cause i think on the news before people in Charlotte were getting in trouble with cops for just having blue lights in their car.
He jus' has to make sure he's not using conflicting light colors. I know in SC ...
Law Enforcement agencies and CSI(forensics) are: Blue, blue/clear -
Fire is: red/clear, red/amber, red/amber/clear...-
Safety-hazard...DOT and non DOT (tow trucks & road side asist) & construction is: clear/clear, clear/amber, clear/green (moving large items)
Since Daniel has a member of law enforcement in the family he should be able find out and stay away from the potential color conflicts...
I made a mention in my earlier post that if he's going to have light bars/sticks and slim lighters scattered out he may want to find a way to "mask" them while not in use to help him stay "safe" and "legal".

Im staying away from the light bars/slim lighters. I'm going to do the "Hide-a-way" strobes and the TIR3 Super-LED's that hide behind your grille. The lights will pretty much be invisible unless I turn them on. Hey Trigger, the installation sounds incredibly tough, where did you end up putting your power supply box?

Under the pssngr seat... on a 1/4" piece aluminum, but anything that doesn't have a very low melting point should be fine. I was going to use a 3/8" sheet of lexan, but it was mistakenly used somewhere else. I had an older ("weather proof") Two-head power supply mounted to a 1/8" pc. of aluminum on a foward horizontal brace in-front of the trans. cooler and radiator.
The "main engine compartment" would be horrible since most of the newer pwr. (high-powered/4+heads) supplies use some sort of a thermal shut-off... so it may consistantly shut-off due to the surrounding engine temps.. But I never really tried it... "simply didn't seem right".
