Previously I used Sirius. Worked well. There is a station for 60's, 70,s etc. Only one for top 40/pop and I found one each of each channel was nice but like regular radio, if it was not what you wanted to listen to you had to change the channel. Some channels do have advertising some have excessive commentary, like advertising for Sirius. Unless you have a system that has multiple groups A/B/C each with its 6 or so presets you will either listen to your favorite 6 or push alot of buttons going through 1-6 on each band to find what you want. The uncensored comedy channel will make any drive short and enjoyable for adults.
I feel they are both the same. XM has more customers but Sirius has "the king of shock jock". I did loose signal in backroads 2 laners with tall trees, annoying.
Sirius gave me a great pricing on 16 month service. At the end of that they automatically signed me up for 12 month pricing, higher and I did not agree to it, and would not renew a 16 month pricing as before, so I dropped it.
I am considering renewing with Sirius if they have a 16 month pricing and will drop the automatic month charge they have me listed for.
