i've been thinking propane. seems to have add'l benefits. don't know how my edge chip will handle it though. do you have a lead on which turbo you want?
go propane of the 2, I was going to go propane but just purchase a water/meth kit for around $700 and will make close to the same HP as propane. Banks has a good tech article about both, they recommend nitrous for diesels. I am ont a big Banks fan, but good reading!
I have NOS on mine. I use it strictly for the track. If you want this for everyday driving, then definetly go with propane. NOS MUST be used only at full throttle even on the diesel. My 15 lb tank lasts for about 100 seconds and costs $55 to fill up. Like I said, not for daily driving!! But sure is fun when next to an import tuner or Mustang at the stop light. Hahahahaha
Nitrous works really well if you can add the proper amount of fuel at spoolup.
Believe me I understand. I must be taking this post in the wrong context. Are you wanting to add power, cover up poor tuning, or an existing problem? If my 1.8 60 ft on 35's is lag let me know.

My 1.72 definitely wasn't lag =o)
Then again, that was a cummins, no nitrous either =o)
Besides, lag is irrelevant to your 60'
60' time starts when you leave, and if your powerbraking it out of the hole, lag won't affect your ET or 60'
I never said anything about covering up poor tuning.
Pure and simple, with the proper tune, Nitrous works wonders for turbocharged gas and diesel engines, especially at the bottom end.
