Front axle question

78 4wd f-150. Fluid is leaking where the axle comes out of the housing. I'm guessing there is a seal inside the housing near the pumpkin. Is this where the problem is, if so, how do you replace a seal in there? Thanks anyone...

Thats where the seal is located but I have never changed one. I will take a guess that the inside carrier has to be removed to change the seal but I'm not sure.
