Question Canadian PSD???

Hey dose anyone know what or if any differences there are from the PSD's here compared to the Canadian PSD's? I have an '02 and is was imported from Canada. The only this I know is the day time running lights. The speedo is still MPH. I have looked at my brother's '00 and couldnt see anything differnt. If there is anyone out there that knows more let me know. I have always woundered what or if any differences there are. Thanks

I don't know of any differences, but here in Canada, they warn that dealers should not cover warranty work if unit is bought out of country.Just something I read somewhere along the line, when our trucks were being sent South of the border.I have never challenged it personally, but now with the "Buck" changing,I am sure a few folks will be heading south for a better deal! The old saying..Buyer Beware!

I have one from Canada and I also noticed it doesn't have a steering stabilizer or a cat.

I think the steering stabilzer only came with the off road package or something like that, I've seen alot of them with out it. I think most diesels in those year sdidnt have cats either. Powerstrokin007 what years is yours? I dont think there is much of a difference. If you can think of anything else let me know. Thanks for your input.

I think in 99 and 2000 the auto trans trucks had no cats. Only the manual trans ones did. I read this somewhere on here.

My 2001 F350 was imported from Canada. (Built in Kentucky). Everything I needed fixed was covered under warranty without any hassle. The local Oregon dealer was even able to give me the truck's complete repair history while it was a Canadian resident. The long and short of this story is the warranty should still be good if you are still in the normal warranty period.
If your dealer is telling you otherwise, then he is probably trying to get paid twice.
