Hello I Am A First Time Poster To The Fourm, My 2000 Exp Developed A Air Suspension Problem After Lodaing A 4800 Lb Pallet On My Trailer, We Had Hard Time Sliding It Forward To Get Load Right And Then It Went A Little To Far, The Air Ride Could Never Raise The Rear Of The Truck, After Traveling 50 Miles I Hand Stack Some Of The Load To The Back But It Never Level Out, I Travel Around Another 150 Miles And About Half Way On That Journey I Stacked More To The Back With No Change In Problem. Got To The Home Base And Unhooked The Trailer And Truck Stayed In Low Rider Postion, Got Manul Out Check Fuses And All Were Ok, The Compressor Runs But No Lifiting Of Truck With No Load, Compressor Will Even Kick On After Truck Has Been Shutoff For Awhile. Have Been Under Truck And Have Not Seen Any Problem Yet, Fixing To Go Out When Truck Gets In Shade And Look At What Sounds Like A Air Leak Somewhere Under Truck Behind Front Wheel, Any Ideas Or Help Would Be Appreciated, Got To Get This Truck Back In Ford Tough Condition,
Ok The Compressor Runs For Short Time Maybe 45 Seconds And Cycle Off And Comes Back On A Few Times Till The Ck Sup Light Comes On Then Reset The Light And Works Again. I Found A Pos Coupler Behind The Ac That Had Seperated, I But It Back Together But It Still Leaks, Is This The Coupler You Are Talking About And The One In A Recent Post You Refered To, I Think That Is My Problem , I Hope I Have Not Ruined The Rear Bags They Do Not Look Easy To Replace
That Little Ole Pos Coupler Is What I Replaced, Guess When The Load Was In The Wrong Place The Compressor Tried To Pump It Up And It Was The Weak Link In The System, You It Is Kind Of Relief Valve To Save From More Severe Problems????
