Meteor anyone?
Hey all just had to share this with all the fine folks here. Today went to go get in my truck to get lunch and find I have broken passenger side door glass and windshield. Upon further inspection the driver side door panel was blown away into pieces. Well further inspection I saw a rock on the pass side floor but it was no ordinary rock my coworker says thats a meteor. Well what happened was his truck was right next to mine this thing came down at such a steep angle through the window bounced off the seat up into the left hand corner of the windsheild shattering that then bounced back down onto the top of my door panel and blew it into pieces I have the pics on a cd soon as i figure out how to post I will. The rock was about the size of a baseball and round like one to.

Call the newspapers....The Star....all the rags. You might as well collect from them. Hopefully your insurance company won't say " Act of God".
Oh yeah...that "rock" is worth big bucks ( so long as it didn't come from the john of and airplane !

well the insurance company got a disc of the pics and they coundn't believe it. also when i called the police they called back and said that an officer would call me back to make a report, when they called back they thought I was crazy so they sent an officer. He looked and was amazed so he made the report and left .While I was on the phone with the adjuster he came back and said my supervisor wants to see the rock I said he can come here and see it then he says since you put it that way I need to take it for evidence I said evidence for what. So I did have him make me a receipt for it and He said I'd get it back so I stopped there after cleaning up the glass and they won't release it the guy who bagged it said when he first say it it was a burned orange color then it just turned black. I will try to post pics tonite. Oh and I'm in maryland also . BPofMD

Hey I did get the rock back on sunday but not after an altercation with the seargant but once I told him I talked to my cousin who is a corporal and his brother inlaw is our family attorney and explained to them that what they did was use their authority to take something that they didn't have a right to they turned it over in a matter of minutes. I just want my truck back if you know what I mean. If I don't hear from insurance guy tomorrow I'm going to have it fixed and let the rock pay for it..lol
