anyone has fabricated a front air dam for our year truck? I searched on this forum but didn't see responses. I know the body style has the 'brick' effect and I was just curious if the air dam would help any. I saw an 90 something Lightning the other day, (95?) and it got me thinking. Anyone ever done this? And, would it be beneficial?
Van, None that I know of, I for one agree it would be a great idea. This site's owner might reward you if you did a well documanted article on building one. I would be happy to host it on my site if there wasn't any interest here.
jowilker, my first attempt was pretty tacky looking so I've put it away in the shed where I can see it the next time I have a "bright" idea. But..............,
I think I have it figured out. I'm going to make one this weekend. I'll document with photo's and a parts list. If it turns out the way I "think" it will, I'll send you a picture via email.
John,
Strike 2. (darn) Second attempt a foul ball. Oh well, I'll take another "whack" at it this weekend. When the going gets tough, you get a bigger bat.
