oil gallery??????
Hey
I've seen "oil gallery" mentioned a few times and I was wondering what it is? Where is it located and whats its purpose? I read this in an article for 'pane injection and I was thinkin bout doin it to my '89 F-350.

The answer to your question is the passages drilled thru the block to carry the pressurized oil to the points it is needed. Some engines have only one (i.e 300 six), most v types have 3 one for the mains and one on each side of the centerline to supply the valve lifters.
