Kinda silly question but after looking at the odomoter and remembering what someone once told me I am wondering if my truck might actually have 73K original miles and not 173 or 273.
Anyway I was told that when the 5 digit odomoters roll over, at 100K, the numbers neaver line up exactly straight. Is this correct?? Wondering because the numbers on my odomoter are all aligned perfectly.
I'm gonna try and get a pic of it and put it in my galary when and if I ever get a chance to.
I don't think you can make any judgement by how the numbers line up. I've seen new cars with crooked ones and some that have rolled over straight in line. Wear patterns on the seats, pedals and interior in general would be a much better indicator.

I was pretty sure it has rolled at least once but I just remembered what someone said once and though "It can't hurt to ask the question". And the 80's serise ford's I've had never lined up exactly after they rolled over. Guess its true and even in the 80's they didn't make them like they used to.
