light 'clunk'
Got a call from the dealer earlier today, right before the truck left them to get the paint issue fixed, and they told me that the light clunk i hear is normal. I get it when i am turning the wheel right and almost to the steering stop i hear a light clunk. I've jacked up the truck and wiggled the wheel and tried moving things with my hands to make the noise. It happens almost to the steering stop, and if you turn left slightly then back right it'll do it again. It does it stopped and rolling... I suppose it is 'normal' indeed if i found nothing loose and the dealer agrees... Sound right?? thanks!!

One more thing you can check, that I've had happen to me: check to see that the battery is tight. Grab it to make sure that it won't slide around. I once had to install spacers under the battery clamps because they weren't holding the battery firmly.

*Update: turned out to be a loose tierod. I went to the dealer for an oil change and told them if that is 'normal' then demonstrate it on a new ranger. Went out to the back lot and the new one didn't do it, surprising... thanks for the suggestions! (Curious though as to why it did that...)
