I am restoring a 1961 Unibody and I was curious if anyone knew of a company that offers a drop axle for the front? I want to lower it but don't want to go the whole front clip way and I've heard that short coils have a tendency of chewing up tires. Anything you can give me would help me out a lot.

What you need to find out about the 61-66 F series can be found here, you have my word on it.
61 is a straight axle truck. easiest method is using monoleafs from Detroit spring or Rick allen from Carolina Classics. The monos do not change caster or camber.
I have been trying along with other members to get a 61 to 64 drop axle produced but cant seem to get anywhere with it.
I designed a flip kit for my "Christine" truck but ran into some issues with clearance for the crossmember i made. Need to rethink some aspects of it.
