Wire Harness info.

Quess need to add disclaimer, have no vested interest in Mr. Mustang. Do appreciate businesses who continue to provide some of these hard to come by reproduction parts. In a prior post, few weeks back, regarding wire harnesses, it was mentioned Mr. Mustang made reproductions for the 64 thru 67 Ford F100 close to the original. Another member thought they had gone out of business explaining unable to reach anyone. To make long story short, after few attempts, found they are still in business, although no longer online. Still make the wire harnesses. Anyhow, thought would mention for those who may be interested. Purchased set few years back, exact color codes and duplicate connectors plugs and fittings. Still have not found anyone who make reproduction dash harness. Several members have gone to after-market kits, painless or simular, as a result, and comments were favorable. Never priced the wiring kits, imagine not as costly.

Bill will make you a custom harness with factory connectors to fit the truck along with any accessories you have or wish to have.

He is in north east Ohio.

Bookmarked Collin's Automotive for future references. Not sure who long business can remain competitive without a web sit, not that knowledgeable about Mustang part supplier's. Initially thought Mr. Mustang was out of business and wanted to see if I could get in contact with company who contracted out the harnesses. Wrote letter to 'Custom Auto Wiring' out of Wadsworth, Ohio, but letter was returned. Seemed Mr. Mustang may be 'down sizing' and not sure how much longer factory type repro's harness would be available so ordered set for other 65. Appreciate the referral Garbz

Bill built a harness for Skip Porterfields "Nadine" it incorporated all the stock ford switches along with a modern stero and other goodies. Bill can incorporate just about anything into it. Power windows, heated seats anything you could possibly imagine. it can even be cross dressed between manufacturers..LOL

It is just not cheap.

Hey Garbz;
I know this is a 57-60 forum question; but I hang out here more than there; Do you know if Bill "collins automotive" makes a harness set for the 57-60 trucks as well?
