Where can I find the weight of my F-150 2wd Supercab shortbed w460 engine? All I have been able to find on the truck is the GVW or GAWR numbers! Need for calculating cam size.
I would go to a truck scales to weight it. Or take a trip to the dump and ask what the truck weighs after you empty the load.
OK I re-read your post, since you're calculating cam size the truck may not be running right now. If thats the case I'm sorry but I can't help you, but don't worry someone will
Well I can't tell you the weight of your truck, but I can give you mine so it may give you some idea. I have a 1976 F150 4x4 390 4speed reg cab long bed. With about a 1/4 tank of gas he hits the scales at 4980 lbs.
Your super cab short bed would weigh about the same as my reg cab long bed (a guess on my part) but I would have more weight due to the 4x4, so you could take several hundrend pounds off of my weight and be close to yours.
Maybe?? Hope it gives you something to think about.
77 f150 302 c4 reg cab longbed with me in the truck with a full tank and a spare tire in the bed was 4650lbs. Weighed at the city dump.
I'd say you're at around 4800-4900lbs.
My old Blue Book says:
1/2 Cab-Ch F150 Supercab = #3524.
1/2 PU Styl. F-150 Supercab = #3878.
These are the only two F-150 Supercabs listed, both have same wheelbase..
