I have a 2003 Ford Explorer. The windshield has the built in temperature reading that displays on my control panel by the steering wheel. Well somehow the temperature reading isn't showing and it says Zone 09. Does anyone know why this is happening? It looks like it got switched to zone instead of temperature somehow, but I don't know how to change it back.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
The zone reading you mention is used to program the compass which displays its reading next to the outside temp display. Does it do this all the time? If so, I wonder if something is wrong with your compass allowing this zone setting to keep coming up. Either that, or maybe the button on the compass module (black thing beind the inside rearview mirror) is stuck as this is how you access the zone setting. I hope this helps.
