'69 E-100? Van

My neighbor/best friend for years, has a '69 Econoline Van, windows all the way around. It is just Trashed. That means that I can have it. Free.
If this van has PDB on the front, would they work on my truck? I'm pretty sure it has an I-beam, i know for sure that it doesn't have IFS or PS. But are the PDBrakes the same for this van as the ones I want for my truck? Also it has more economical gears in the diff. than my 4.56 in my truck; would the rear axle work for my truck as well?

Thanks!
-Andrew

Andrew, maybe but it is not a bolt up deal. The E. subframe is different from the F. The rear should be 9" though. Do some carefiul measuring, you might be able to swap the spindles.

You need a 65 or newer to easily & cheaply convert to power steering and brakes. After you get busy and and get your sheet metal looking good, you can move it over to a newer painted chassis. ;-)
