ill get a pic or two with the engine in the truck...it is not as pretty in but it still looks good. i painted it blue because that is what i am going to paint the truck. i don't really know why i picked the silver/gray color.
chris
It's called Pewter or Azure & it's called Vermillion or FoMoCo Red.
If you wish to see what Colours FoMoCo of Canada painted their I-6 truck engines during the 50's, Cheque out my Gallery under '58 Mercury M-100 & Panel, as mine is painted Pewter & Vermillion, which is correct for the year 1958.

nice clean looking, take a look at mine it may give you some more ideas for engine dressup. I put mine in with the engine bay dirty as well but a scrub brush some greased lightening degreaser rust converter and paint and my engine bay looks allot better, but still not done I put my engine in about 2 months ago and have been working it little by little when i get time as this is my daily driver. when i first put it in the brackets on the front of the engine were just ran through parts mwasher and thats it. in process of polishing the intake manifold. Waiting to be able to afford a Mothers Mini Power Ball to go on the drill and then i will try and finish it up. but in the meanwhile working a few other mods on the truck with scrap sttuff i have laying around in my garage.
