GAs gauge problem
Ok, this is my first post. Thanks for all the info ya'll already have posted. I have a 84 f150. The gas gauge doesn't work properly. When I fill the tank it says its full, but within a few miles it drops to empty. Has any one had this problem or have a clue how to fix it.

DEfinitely sounds like snding unit, to buy a factory type replacement, it will run you between $80-120. Check some of the sponsors like Blue Oval Truck Parts and Jeff's Bronco Graveyard, they have them. If you have a pump in the tank, (injected or 460) that is your best option, if not, check out my gallery for the universal senders I put in mine.
