Today at my first day back full time since school was out, and in my first hour there, I got promoted to shop foreman, and got a nice huge raise, not a bad morning!

Congrats preppypyro. Is it at the tire shop? Getting promoted to a shop foreman sounds like a great morning.

Way to go Pyro! You fooled them too!
No really, that's great. A bit more responsibility, but it's worth it and really good for the resume.

I did fool them good eh And I would rather take a electrician job anyday, a trade in a few years pays ten times as much as a foreman job at a tire shop! Plus alot of times the tire shop work is really hard hot work, not very pleasant somedays. It will look damn good on a resume though

i use to work at kal tire in pa. it is not easy work. it is good you got a trade, you will make a hell of a lot more money and once you get your red seal you can go wherever you want.

Thats exactly what I thought too dale. My one friend from the tire shop I work at went to kal tire, he loves it there, way better pay and benefits and stuff. Only thing he doesnt like is they have to be totally clean shaven.

Just remeber what they pay a regular hour and what you make are two different things. Sure I only started for 11/hour but after I factor in food allowance and overtime, I figured out if I work a regular 9 hour day they would have to pay me 25 a hour for me to make the same in the end. Thats also not counting the paid hotels thus low expense living since I only have to drive to work once a week.Thats the way I igured it out but keep in mind me not too good at math so don't blame me if it's wrong.

I love these new smilies I don't know who to thank but they are great!
