I know that there are many different opinions out there and i would like to see if i might be able to get some. I am new to this site and hope i am posting in the apropriate area.
i have a 06 F350 CC LWB diesel 4x4. i want to change the exhaust increase the performance but i dont want to go broke doing it either and i also want to lift it as well.
what is a good quality exhaust sytem?
what is a good program to put in to help with performance and MPG?
also any advise on different things i can do to make help like the new air intake larger tubeing to the turbo things like that.................
as far as lift goes i was thinking fabtech 8" and running 38" swampers under it on some 20x10 rims. ultimatley i would rather have about 17-18" lift and runin 49 but that is out of the question right now.
so any good advice combos or just overall thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
I have an '06 F-250 and went with the Silverline exhaust. It definetly helped in the performance and was reasonably priced to boot.

You're going to get alot of responses to this one. I decided on the Edge Juice Platinum and am VERY happy with the choice.

I went with a direct replacement air filter at first and was happy until I did further upgrading and found that the engine wasn't getting enough air. I then did alot of digging and found a little place called Jobe Performance. I bought his kit which seems kinda pricey, but it came with an Optima Battery so it fits great. I also upgrade the intercooler with a Banks Techni-Cooler. Read my sig for other mods. FYI - I drag it everyother weekend to. With the last upgrade of the NOS system, she runs a 13.8 in the 1/4. Not bad for 8000 lbs of truck.
The first question I would ask yourself is are you willing to have your Warrenty denied because you modified your exhaust. At first I wanted to do the very same thing on my 06 F250 PSD but after talking to a lot of people on other forums they all recommend not touching or modifying your truck. Based on the 03 and 04 6.0 liter Ford has hunkered down on Warrenty Claims and made it very hard for owners who have made some modifications.
Just something to think about because I wanted to do the same and now I am going to wait.
