front springs
How can I tell which springs my truck came with, a buddy has a set of xcodes I can buy(I believe these sre the plow pkg springs) for 50 bucks, but if mine already has them I dont want to buy them.

Yep - the X springs are part of the "plow package" - they should sit just as high as regular springs would with an add-a-leaf added....
As far as finding out which you have... I think.... the stock springs should have a part # stamped in them

on the sticker in the lower right hand side of the drivers door jam it will show front and rear axle weight limits. if you front axle shows 6000 lbs than you have the X code springs, if it shows anything less (5200lb, 4800lb, ect) than you dont. $50.00 is a good price for a pair of x code springs (providing they are in good shape)

wlihntr, thanks for the info, that price is a good deal because hes a good friend the springs were taken off of the truck with 23,000 miles on it and for that price he is giving mre front and rear and any other misc. parts left over from the lift
