Heat exchanger

I have placed a 99 Lightning in a 1936 Ford Truck. I have had a Ron Davis aluminum racing radiator built. Can I use this instead of heat exchanger? Its cooled with a electric fan. I am limited on space so if I have to run the heat exchanger can it be set on its side? Any help would be much appreciated!!!

I think it would work with the fan and all. But I am sure you know the more air flowing through it the better.
