I have a 2001 F-350 4x4 with a fab-tech leveling kit in the front. This kit consists of 3.5 inch drop down shackle and spring mount and uses the stock front springs. I recently installed a winch in front and it dropped the front end almost an inch. I want to add a leaf in the front springs to recover the 1 inch height however I can't find any of the after market companies that make an add-a-leaf type kit for the stock springs. They want to sell me new arched springs that would be much higher than I want. Does anybody know of an add a leaf type kit for these stock springs?
Paul
I bought my add-a-leaf from heckethorn off road products through rough country. That was back in Jan 04. I don't see the same part number on their website anymore but you can call them to see if they still make it. Part # 6125 add-a-leaf spring kit. It sold for around $90
Quite a few of the lift companies make an add-a-leaf for the front of these trucks - I KNOW Skyjacker, Superlift, and Rough Country make add-a-leaves.... and I'm sure probably others too.
Edit: Also - some companys have started calling them "leveling kits" - I guess that's fancier than "add-a-leaf"

Tuff Country makes a 1.5" add-a-leaf and Rough Country makes a 2". I've seen both available on eBay for much cheaper than you'll buy them directly from the manufacturer.
