Exclamation Tunes(system)

I'm thinking of upgrading, New sounds for my redneck, hickville ride. here's the speakers. http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/P...000380/c-10614 i have to order two sets of these, one set i'm gonna set into the under carraige, and make them aux. with a switch and water proof, besauce i do music at parties, and the other set, im gonna make as rear seats in the cab.

For speilen (playing in german) the tunes, im gonna use on of these. http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/P...000283/c-10614.

the question is, what kind of battery should i use on my new system. i want to use the cd player, with the truck turned off for about 4 hrs, cranked. should i just use a heavy dudty marine battery and plug the regualr one in when i go, or should i upgrade the batter in the truck, and no change them.

P.s. i'm posting alot right now, because it's raining, and my girlfriend is at the shore, so i am inceribly bored.

Look at Optima yellow-tops. They replace your stock battery and are much more capable for just general day to day running and running a system. I've never had problems with mine and it starts a lot easier than my old battery did, then again my old battery was too small for the truck (stupid previous owner).

For what you want to do, use 2 batteries with a battery isolator, and you won't be stranded.

Thumbs up

I agree with Bob, the 2- battery system will make sure you're not left behind.

I'd also read the fine-print on the battery isolators. Most require (ask) that both batteries are the same to prevent "complications"... in a matter of speaking. I went with dual Optima Yellow tops while I had my Ranger. You on the other hand may not see the need to purchase the Yellow Tops, I had a few more things running in a more demanding cycle than a typical aftermarket sound system. But the Optimas never let me down.

Keep us posted during the new project!... Good Luck!

Thanks, the double battery system sounds better than a single large battery. That what i'll do.
