Cab sizes
Is the 85 F150 XLT Explorer extended cab indetical to the 84 F150 XLT Extended cab truck? They are 200 miles apart and I can only walk around. Can't tell without them being side by side. Also, is the wiring harness (engine) the same in the 302 and 351W?
I have a chance to buy the explorer real cheap and I am fixing up my 84. If the cab is the same I'd rather swap it out as there is a lot less rust. Since my engine had a small fire I need to replace the wiring harness under the hood (don't know what kind of job that is) and I figure if I can get this truck for 3 or 4 hundred I'm saving a lot of time and trouble with junk yards.
