inline efi swap
I have 94 f150 that got totaled about 3 years ago. It has a inline six and i have been thinking about pulling the motor for my 79 4x4. I know i would need the harness & ecm. I'll more than likely take the cab just to make the wiring easier. My ? is the 94 is auto and the 79 is a stick will this be a issue for the ecm. Is the trans pattern the same? Will I need any mods to run my np435 or is it more a plug and play deal. I don't know if the motor will bolt in without a special mount. I have not done any measuring or even fired up either truck in a while ,but I would like to use the parts I aready have for this beast to keep cost down . Any help would be great I got to get back in the mud.
