Umm... well, I decided to take off my lock outs to clean any usual mud and water that gets in there. Now... I took the front left side off, looked normal, cleaned it out, went to the right side and too my surprise... there was a big long spring on this side that wasnt on the left side. Is it supposed to be that way??? Granted I've seen hubs with big springs before... but arent they supposed to be on both sides? They have Mile Marker hubs on it, and they were on the truck when I bought it. Am I missing a part or... no?
Or am I just idiot asking a stupid question? lol

Yes, there are suppose to be springs on both sides. The MileMarker hub springs are shorter then the stock Ford hubs, so if you go for a replacement at the junk yard try to get a spring from a MileMarker.
Okay, let me edit this. On a 2003, after seeing your user name, I do not know for sure. On my older trucks, the springs where the same L&R as the hubs were exactly the same.
