Melling makes a mild towing/ RV cam for the 300 that should work with stock springs & retainers no problem. Isky has one that's a step hotter, a 248 with .415" of lift, which is big as you can go /w stock parts. First problem you usually run into with a hotter than stock cam will be coil bind on the exhaust valve springs. If your engine has rotators on the exhaust valves this reduces the installed spring height and the amount of total lift you can get before binding.
