Well I know that some will scold me for the speed, but it was 4 am on the way to work and all clear. At sometime over 100, I see a check engine light. Pull over, but I did not want to shut down right away. Got out and checked for fluids....none. Sat for 5 mins. and shut down. Scan with Super Chips and find 1)p0603 Internal ctrl Mod KAM Error. 2) p0743 Torque Converter Clutch Sys Electrical Failure. (may be my tran shif problem) 3) p0238 Turbo Boost Sensor A Circuit High Input. (over boost?).
It is the first one that scares me. Anyone know? BTW the check engine light went out by the time I got stopped.
Great to hear! That "internal" word got to me a little. I do not think I need to fix the fuel problem, not something that I do often. Thanks for the info.
2) p0743 Torque Converter Clutch Sys Electrical Failure. (may be my tran shif problem)
Accordingto the Ford Diagnosis manual "Check engine light illuminates when a fault is detected in second drive cycle(California, OBD II calibration)
Transmission Control Indicator Light(TCIL) flashes when fault is present.
