I just got the tub in my old jeep yj Line-X'd at the Burlington location. I am truly impressed with the job done. They are very enthusiastic and the prep work went the extra mile in my opinion. My extra cash has been budgeted to the jeep this summer but I'm seriously thinking of getting the F150 done next year.
I guess I should be more specific with the questions becuz your rite I would not drive to Burlington. What I meant to ask was it a retail chain like Van & Truck World or a small shop?
I got my step-bars done by a Line-X dealer in Oshawa. He's got a small space in the back of a bodyshop in Oshawa, Ritson and Wentorth area. I forget the name of the shop but I found it on the net.

The company is called Line-X. Until recently the only dealers I knew of were Newmarket and Cambridge but they appear to be rapidly branching out in Canada.

That's a great idea, good grip in the winter. I'm always slippin off mine.
had the bed of my truck donw oooooo 3 weeks ago? love it... takes a good beating... is comfy (ya weird i know but go with it:P) and looks great.... pricey (compared to drop-in) but u know its gonna last.... the guy who does it here in barrie has his own shop for it....
My step bars were $175. I use them to get my 'chair in and out and they were takin' a beatin' and had started to corrode. Now there's not a mark on them.
What kind of money are they charging to do a pick-up? Or a smaller job on a Jeep?
AL.
500 for an 8 ft box. My jeep was actually a bit more cuz there's more prep work involved. They took out my roll bar etc, I'd stripped out what a I thought of as everything but there was a but of small stuff he took out to make a neater job and when he reinstalled them he used new fasteners. I was really impressed.
i paid $580 tax in for mine... its a regular box and i had it done under the rail... over the rail costs more... when he did my bod he took out all the bolts, the tie downs, and the small panel on the tail gate and then sprayed it... didnt cover the bolts at all... looks awsome.... and lik i said she takes a beating...

Well bein a jeep my purpose was to make it pretty much all weather. I plan to run it all summer with the top off. There will be some cargo in the box but not like I'd put in my pickup. Now if I can just get all the grit out of my dash and electrical switches I'll be set to go.
