Taillights
I was looking through my LMC Catalog for new taillights so I can update the look of my 86 F 250 and found the Euro taillight lenses for the 87-96 F series.Has anyone bought a set of these and how do you like them?

Just be careful, the cops have been cracking down on people with those types of lights here, because they are not DOT legal.
They must have a red reflector in them, that reflects red light back from a white light source. (most of them do not have this.)
And they must be able to shine red light from the bulb or lens.
And with tailights for our trucks, they must also have a side reflector that shines red, when a white light source is shown on it from the sides.
Check your old tailights for these reflectors. They must be on the new light, in the correct color or they are not legal.
This also goes with the amber side marker lights. It must have a amber reflector, that shines amber, from a white light source being shown on them. Most do not have the correct color reflector, so are illegal.
Just a friendly heads up.
Check the internet, and the Department of Transportation, for more details on this.

Still some taillights that are DOT approved are still illegal in some states.
Oregon requires Red Lenses, period. Any taillight that requires a Red colored bulb to glow red is illegal.
