Tire Size

What is the largest tire size you can use without a lift. My truck has all stock suspension and I am just trying to find out what I can fit under it.

I am running BFG All Terrain TA's LT285-75R16 they are 32" tall and I dont think I could go much bigger without fear of hitting a big hole and causing fender or tire damage. Oh and mine is a 2wd.

i have BFG 315/75/16's

they scrub the spring on the right on a full right turn

but only the plastic inner fender on full left turn

no lift

I've got a buddy running 305s (stock rims)on his 02 4X4 with no issues.

I used to run 305 MTR's on mine but they were way to loud and eating up to much fuel so I went back to 265's. No rubbing or any other problems but its pretty bad when the tires are louder than the motor.

I have 305's on mine. No problems, just an occasional rub in a bouncing hard turn.

I just installed BF Goodrich All-Terrains (size 295/75/16) on my '02 F250 with a stock suspension. I have no rubbing problems at all.

I have 305/70's on 16x8" wheels - with a 2" leveling kit - and they rub a little at the inner fenderwell at full-lock, with a little bit of suspension flex. There's no way I could fit any bigger tires without more lift!
