I also have the ccv mod on all of my motors and this and the 5weight instead of 15w has let it start a lot easier and made the motors a little(very little) but noticeable difference quieter.
I couldn't handle a system where the oil gets dirty wears and fouls the engine then needs to be drained every 8,000 miles. There is almost nothing in the oil in a modern engine that is large enough to be removed by the full flow filter. About the only advantage to changing a full flow filter is that you are adding new make up oil. Engine damaging abrasives are what a full flow filter removes. The smaller what we filter people call engine wearing abrasives can only be removes by draining the oil or installing a submicronic bypass filter. If you are going to install a bypass filter you might as well install a submicronic bypass filter. There are several on the market. I am no different than other filter people, I have my favorite.
I started with bypass filters in 1963 so I have a basic knowledge of the best ones on the market.
