i purchased a 94 superduty turbo diesel about a month ago.the previous owner said he put a new clutch in the truck.the clutch master is brand new.
yesterday my pedal went to the floor i checked the master and it was low,i then crawled under the truck and looked at the slave and saw some fluid on the outside of the slave but couldnt tell if there was any leak i wiggled the slave and my pedal popped back up and it drove to the house fine .i got a new slave to put on but i cannot get it in.shouldnt there be some play in the fork to get the slave in?ive depressed the plunger on the slave as far as i can
i pulled the fork out and looked in the fork boot hole at the throwout, the bearing turns fine and it appears to slide on the shaft as well.the fingers on the pressure plate dont appear to be bent or anything.I relly need to get this truck back on the road, thanks
