Talking $100 Dollar Hamburger?

And it doesn't even include a coke.

Short read.

Sweet. For $40,000 + $3600 a year I can pay $100 to get a hamburger? Pshaw.

I'd rather do this:

MatthewJ, that hamburger reminds me of the scene in the movie "The Great Outdoors", where John Candy is eating that mega pound steak.

I'd like to have a go at that 6 lb. hamburger.

Did you mean Ruth's Chris? Best steak I have ever had, and worth every penny. I will go back again, but only on very special occassions (Anniversary, birthday...) as it is very costly. It's ok to treat yourself now and then.

As far as the $124 burger, they only donate $10?? What a rip-off!

Talking

On one of our anniversaries I asked my wife where she wanted to go for dinner. She replied that she wanted to go to the most expensive place in town. So, I took here to the airport for grilled cheese and soup. I healed up real quick. jim d

Hah $100 burger and they don't even use 100% american beef which is considered the best by many people. Argentina beef is what the local grocery stores around here in Iowa sell as the cut rate junk. Heck makes me wish I still had my feedlots I would send them people some real american beef and teh customers would throw the junk they are selling them for $100 on the floor......well maybe not cause they would be afraid thier poodles would through it up.

Edit, just because I used to be a beef producer, and I felt quit insulted about that story I actually emailed them telling them that they should be ashamed trying to use cut rate meat to cheapen it up, and they might try some real Iowa corn feed beef. Heck I would take the money and make the drive to pennsylvania for one of them 6lbs though, now that looks good

They had a 100$ hamburger at Macguires in florida, but the burger came with a bottle of wine. I could go for the 6lb burger, fly down just for lunch.

Why don't we, us, anybody, just buy 6 pounds of good ground whatever and broil it our/your selfs?

Biggest lunch I ate was 2- 2 1/2 pounds burritos from the Missiom District here.

You didn't want to be in the same room as I was in.
