point gap for a 534 ??

just bought a 1966 T850 dump truck that needs a tune up !
Points are fried,can anyone help me ??

They are probably standard v8 single points. I think Ford only had two or three different points style that year.

what do i set the points gap too ??

I got the new points in and just guessed and set them at 17!
What is the factory spec setting ??

Try .16, that's what they wanted for 289s and 390s in '66. Why would they want it diff for the big guy?

Autozone told me .016 from their spec book.
