I just noticed on my overhead read-out that it always sez "-40", both on F and C...
...that is unlikely, so anyone know the problem? Or more important what I worry about is that the engine management computer is seeing that same number?
I can't remember exactly where it is and the truck is home, but the sensor you are looking for is right in the front somewhere. Somebody chime in and help me here.
Looking at the truck it is located on the right side just behind the cetner section of grill and bolted to the right side radiator support. It is pointy on top.
The climate control readout display accurate outside temp.
The overhead outside temp readout displays -40F and 140C.
I found the temp sensor on the radiator mount right where Monsta
said I would.
I cannot tell if it is connected just by looking from the front,
but am assuming is was unhooked up at the console, as the console was just replaced under warranty because the right side rear vent switch shorted and
melted it.
Thanks!

AH-HA! Warranty work work = things not put back together right!
Pull that OH console down! It ain't screwed on or anything...I think...see if that thing is even hooked up! Although...it is only one plug that goes into the back of that if I remember correctly. That carries power and info. If it ain't hooked up wonder how the thing is displaying anything at all?!
