Recently fueled up at a station in Oregon, so an attendant had to pump the diesel. Anyway, he tops it off, filling it to the cap. After paying, I tried to start the truck but couldn't. It took 3 ten-second cranks to get the truck started, but it finally started and I'm on my way. I drove another 1500 miles, filled up several times an never had another problem.
I remember somewhere reading that there is an overflow switch on the 05-06 psd's that sets off a CEL (?) or something like that. I don't know much about the systems, but could this have somehow caused the difficult start?
I put on another 1500 miles and never had another problem with a difficult start, but I don't overfill the tank. What do you folks think?
