I ordered some headers for my 93 F150 5.0 there elchepo
Direct bolt on my A_ _ ,
anyway I broke some ribs trying to install them, "Long story Dont ask"
they dont lone up to factory exhust, and I noticed that the outlet is 2.5"
so I'm not sure if they would work anyway. My F150 had that 2'nd cat that has the line to the AIR system.
What I'm needing to know is can I remove that cat and eleminate the AIR line.
I would have to have a muffler shop make a Y connection and install a Bung for the o2. also I trhink I can go to a 3" exhust up to the 2nd cat. wondering if I should go to 4"...
you are gong to have a check engine lite on nomater what u do wit the cats and o2s cuz if you take out the first cat the o2 aint gonna get the right signal so if you are takn 1 out takem allout as long as u dont have emmision testing. yor check engine lite will be on but im pretty sure you can get 02 simmultors to keep it off. not to mesion if you go threw the trouble of putting headers on then run them into cats it kinda defeats the purpose. and as far *** the diamiter if you pipes just remember you need a little back presure to get your low end torque so dont go to big
