ordered out some pizza, first time in a long time, kind of a celebration of return to normal eating habits after my latest round (and hopefully last) of chemo. and it tasted good!!!!!!!!!
I prefer to use Garlic powder instead of garlic salt.
It is less hard on the body.
Tastes better too!
Tonight I made this pasta dish that is amazingly simple and tastes great. boil pasta, keep about a cup of the liquid, grind a LOT of fresh pepper, put drained pasta back into pot, pour saved liquid back into pot, add 2-3 tbsp olive oil, the pepper and half pound of a good quality (doesn't come in a can), ground parmasean cheese, stir over heat untill blended, serve immediately. The TV chef that I saw make this, said it was supposed to be 'the meal' with nothing else required... I had a stuffed pepper though.

I do that occasionally because even I get tired of eating my own special fantastic meat sauce so I change things a little to what you do/did.
but,
I add Oregano, Basil & Fresh Parsley to mine though.
